Derek Wilson joined DiCaro, Coppo & Popcke in 2010.

He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from University of San Diego, School of Law in 2006. He graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona earning a Bachelor of Science in Political Science.

During law school, Derek was a law clerk at the office of the Alternate Public Defender of San Diego County.  Before joining the firm, Derek practiced primarily in securities and consumer class action litigation.

Since joining the firm, Derek has focused his practice on representing healthcare providers and facilities in malpractice litigation and peer review matters.

Derek is an avid baseball fan, and enjoys playing sports, camping, traveling, and reading.
